Our Core Initiatives
Some more information about how our charity raises funds for the West Gippsland Hospital Oncology Ward.
Events in the Community.
Our primary initiative as a charity is running events within the Gippsland community. This includes our annual Liza Pharaoh Junior Netball Tournament held every March, our Bogan Bingo event run bi-annually, movie nights at the Warragul Cinema, and other one off events such as our Fashion Show held in collaboration with local business owners.
All for the West Gippsland Hospital.
100% of the profits raised by our charity are donated to the West Gippsland Hospital's Oncology Ward, and our committee works collaboratively with the Hospital to ensure all funds donated are used effectively and efficiently to improve the lives of people living with cancer.
Promoting good health.
Liza was extremely passionate about keeping a good health and fitness regime. Throughout 2026 we will be introducing new initiatives to the subscribers of our charity to ensure this passion lives on. Forming better habits with our own health & wellbeing is a key step in preventing cancer.
Partnering with local initiatives.
Wherever and whenever possible, Pharaoh's Secret Angels partners with other local charities and businesses to fundraise. You will sometimes see Pharaoh's Secret Angels at a sausage sizzle or other community event, and we welcome invitations from local businesses and charities that may like to collaborate with us and support our cause.

Fighting for a better future.
Pharaoh's Secret Angels was founded by Liza Pharaoh throughout her battle with cancer. Our committee is made up of many of Liza's closest friends, and is supported by a group of amazing volunteers that held Liza near and dear to their hearts.
Many of us in the committee have been touched by cancer in more than one way, and we are all extremely passionate about ensuring Liza's legacy - one of kindness, integrity, passion and wellbeing - lives on through us for the betterment of ourselves, each other, and our broader community.
While we continue to see underinvestment in our local health system by the State and Federal Governments, we continue to advocate for change, and do our best to bridge the gap via our fundraising activities.
